Business continuity
Our Business Continuity team supports businesses to prepare for, and respond to, incidents that can cause unplanned disruptions such as loss of staff, premises, IT or suppliers.
By having a Business Continuity Plan, you can identify key business risks in advance and put strategy in place that allows you to act faster and recover more quickly from events like power cuts, cyber attacks, flooding and health emergencies, limiting any financial or reputational damage.

Emergency management
The Emergency Management team is part of the LLR Resilience Partnership team. It is responsible for ensuring that all local authorities within Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland are able to respond to major incidents and meet their responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004
This includes producing and maintaining the following plans:
- Major Incident Plan
- Emergency Centre Plans
- Evaluation Plans
- Pipeline Plan
- Control of Major Accident Hazards (COMAH) Plans
