A Business Continuity plan will help you spot risks and make sure you have a strategy in place to recover quickly from any unplanned interruptions to your business, such as:
Your premises becoming inaccessible due to flooding or fire
Critical members of staff being absent for longer than expected
IT systems and/or telephone becoming unavailable for a long time
Writing a Business Continuity plan will improve your response to a major incident. Should the worst happen, you’ll be able to get back to business quickly, limiting any financial or reputational damage.
The Emergency Management Team is part of the LLR Resilience Partnership Team. It is responsible for ensuring that all local authorities within Leicester Leicestershire and Rutland are able to respond to major incidents and meet their responsibilities under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004.
