Leicestershire County Council are working with the Leicestershire SEND Hub to provide a guide and directory that allow comparison of different types of educational settings and provision available to support children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. It is intended to complement other sources of information, such as the Leicestershire Local Offer.
The guide and directory are not legal documents, and it is acknowledged that this directory doesn't constitute the only guide and directory to educational setting types available in Leicestershire. Those using this directory aren't restricted to this document, aren't bound to have regard to it, and may consider other sources of information as well.
To ensure accuracy of the information available, we recommend that each time you need to access the SPIL guide or directory, you download it from this webpage rather than saving your own copy.

Part 2 - Directory of SEND settings and provisions
Directory to help parents/carers choose a certain setting or provision for their child or young person.
The directory is currently available as a downloadable spreadsheet. We are working to turn this into a more interactive, web-based directory with search features and we hope to have this ready early next year.
