We’re a green council – and cutting carbon, reducing waste and boosting biodiversity is built into our services, but the actions needed to become Net Zero Leicestershire are much bigger than the county council and what we do.
We cannot achieve Net Zero Leicestershire 2045 alone, and we’ll need people and organisations across the county to work together to make it a reality.
We’ve worked with a number of businesses already, and always want to hear from organisations who want to help shape a greener future for the county.
- Join other organisations and formalise your commitment by signing up to our climate and nature pact
- Find out more about how to get involved by emailing netzero@leics.gov.uk.
Because we need to work with a wide and diverse network of people and organisations, from individuals , to small businesses to national bodies, we want to make it clear that:
- We may feature the work of those organisations across our website and social media channels
- By featuring an organisation, we are not endorsing or recommending them, we’re showcasing the work that they do to have a positive impact on our environment
- We reserve the right to remove content at any time
- Any inclusion or information on our website is subject to the following disclaimer
Thanks for your interest in net zero, and in helping to make Leicestershire a greener place to live and work for future generations.
