Buckminster Pre-School operates as part of the Foundation Unit within the school. Foundation Stage 1 and 2 share space, resources and staff and have a maximum of 15 reception children and up to 12 Pre-School children at any one time. The unit is managed by a qualified teacher, the Pre-School is led by a highly qualified early years practitioner (Level 6) and there is a Level 3 teaching assistant most of the time. We provide a stimulating, exciting and personalised curriculum where children access activities according to their stage of development not their age.
