I left the NHS where I trained and worked as a nurse to become a full time mum. For many years I have been a registered childminder and I have worked at Mountfields Lodge Primary School as a Learning Support Assistant. Both of these roles have enabled me to have lots of experience with the different age groups of children, some of whom have special needs and disabilities. I hold an NVQ Level 3 Certificate in Childcare, Learning and Development and have regular training to update my skills through my role at school and through County Council training for childminders. Ofsted has awarded me a Good grade for my practice.
