Thurnby & Bushby Playgroup

Thurnby and Bushby Playgroup is a committee run, non-profit making charity preschool and being a smaller setting we really get to know the children, which hugely benefits their learning and development. We can be very flexible with days and hours to suit your needs, and also offer early and late clubs to extend your child?s time with us if necessary (these can be regular sessions or booked on the day). We also hold many exciting events throughout the year that families are invited in to join us.
Our preschool follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), passionately promoting children learning through play and exploring their own interests and ideas throughout our free flow open plan setting. We were delighted to have been awarded a grant in 2021 to build an undercover soft surface area, to extend our covered decking and ensure children can safely explore the outdoors in all weathers.
Thurnby and Bushby Playgroup is situated within the grounds of St. Luke?s Primary School, but is a completely separate provision and we offer transition to all local primary schools. We accept 2 Year Funding, 30 hours funding, Tax Free Childcare and Childcare vouchers.
