We want our Enabling Travel Choice Strategy (ETCS) to make a genuine difference to people’s choices of travel. Choices that better enable people to access the services and facilities they use as part of their daily lives; to get to work; or to get to school.
To help us achieve this, we have prepared a draft ETCS, which sets out our proposed approach and priorities:
In order for the ETCS to fulfil its intended purpose, it is essential that we talk to people to find out more about them and their travel needs, challenges and concerns. It is also important that we engage in a way that is cost effective and makes the most efficient use of your money as a payer of council tax or business rates.
So, it is really important that through this consultation you help us to understand how best, and most cost effectively, we can engage with you to deliver the ETCS and fulfil its intended purpose.
