Leicestershire stands with Ukraine

Information to help support people affected by the invasion of Ukraine. Leicestershire County Council operates parts of the national Homes for Ukraine scheme locally, including support for Ukrainian guests and their hosts and payments under the scheme.

We still need hosts for guests in Leicestershire, who have fled war in Ukraine, but their host arrangements here have come to an end. Do you have a spare room or property? You could support people seeking refuge from war and receive a monthly thank you payment.

There is visa support for Ukrainian nationals and their family members.

Leicestershire Ukrainian Community Grant 2024-25

Voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations, along with faith groups and parish or town councils, can apply for grants of up to £5,000 to deliver community-based projects which will improve the opportunities, wellbeing and social integration of Ukrainian families in Leicestershire.
