A range of jobs supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) will be showcased at a special recruitment fair.
The event will be held from 2.30pm – 7pm on Thursday, 17 September at County Hall in Glenfield.
Around 50 new roles will be available in the coming months as part of a wider nearly £5m government investment to enable partners to boost SEND support in Leicestershire.
The county council is creating roles across education, inclusion, specialist teaching, psychology, therapy, social care support and business services.
We are really excited to create these roles which will help make a real difference to children and young people with SEND, and their families.
The fair will be a great chance to find out more, meet recruiting managers and their teams, ask questions and discover the benefits of working for the council.
We welcome interest from experienced professionals, career changers, recent graduates and those with a passion for supporting children, young people and families.

The roles have been created as part of improvement to support made under the council’s new SEND Reform Strategy.
They form part of the county's adoption of an 'Experts at Hand' approach, bringing health and education specialists directly into mainstream schools, nurseries and post-16 settings to support children earlier and strengthen inclusion.
