If you're already getting help from us

Contact your social worker during office hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm
  • Friday, 8.30am to 4.30pm

Telephone the Emergency Duty Team on 0116 255 1606 outside office hours.

If you're not getting help from us

Speak to your GP (doctor) if you’re not already getting help with your mental health problems. They can refer you to mental health services.

If your GP's surgery isn't open:

  • telephone the surgery - the answerphone message will tell you the number for the out-of-hours service which is available 6.30pm to 8am on weekdays and all day at weekends
  • telephone the NHS 111 service available 24 hours a day to find out what other help is available for a mental health crisis
  • go to either the Leicester Royal Infirmary Urgent Care Centre  or the Loughborough Urgent Care Centre
