What is it really like to work for us?

Find out what our staff have to say:

I joined the council at age 17 – since then, I’ve done an apprenticeship and furthered my qualifications to take on a senior role.

I started in Customer Services and used my transferrable skills to join Environment and Transport – there are so many opportunities to progress.

There will be information on a variety of jobs, including:

  • HGV drivers
  • Fleet drivers and fleet escorts
  • Highways operatives
  • Waste site advisors
  • Tree Surgeons
  • Transport Officers
  • Apprenticeships
