Dementia Harborough is a Harborough-based independent charity and run entirely by unpaid Trustees and Volunteers. We provide a fun and friendly environment for those recently diagnosed with dementia and their carers. Our activities are aimed at the carer and cared-for together, so that they can enjoy activities and have mutual support and friendship with those in a similar situation. As well as advice and support, we offer:-
- A monthly Dementia Cafe on the third Tuesday of each month at 2pm, with a different activity every month
- A monthly singing group on the first Tuesday of each month at 2pm where everyone can participate in the beneficial effects of music and song in a group - no singing ability required!
From time to time we also organise trips out to local activities and events.
