New restrictions have been announced in Charnwood to stop the spread of COVID-19

Tighter rules are needed because cases of the virus are increasing amongst all age groups – particularly young people and those over 60.

Most of Leicestershire is in tier 1 – ‘medium’ risk. Residents in Charnwood and Oadby & Wigston are in tier 2 – ‘high risk’.

Swimming club for children with disabilities, age 4-19 in full time education friendly session fun

  • Club environment, non swimmers on one to one, parents involvement if they wish in the water
  • Hoist available for wheelchair users
  • Qualified swimming teachers and life guards available, volunteers welcome , all unpaid volunteers
  • Hour session 6:30-7:30 Wednesday evening in the main pool

Letter or statement from school/ education consultant/GP health professionals - parent to bring on the evening of attending
