From 2 December, Leicestershire moves into Tier 3 – we're working through what this means for our services and we’ll update our website when we can. In the meantime please check back for updates, and find out more about the new restrictions at gov.uk/coronavirus

Parentmonitor is a home monitoring system for the elderly and vulnerable which can detect falls, non-activity and the recording of correct medication intake.  The system was originally created by us to help our own parents but we know that this technology could benefit many families and carers.

A sophisticated care camera using artificial intelligent software can automatically detect if a person has fallen over or not entered a room which they normally would in their daily routine. No gadgets need to be worn or buttons to press.

Our aim is to keep people in their own homes for as long as possible and as independently as possible.  More information can be found on our website or call our advice/helpline for more details.

This technology can also be used in care homes.
