Salisbury Support4 Autism

Salisbury Support for Autism have over 15 years experience in providing accommodation and support to Adults on the Austic Spectrum. We work with autistic individuals to help them achieve their potential. Assistance is available for the families of adults with autism depending on the medical diagnosis of the adult and how they are impacted by the condition.

Our aim is to fully engage our service users in maximising their potential and to promote service user involvement, choice, rights and autonomy in providing care. We also aim to promote an atmosphere of continuous learning by promoting daily living skills development within and outside the service.

We work with our service users, stakeholders and families collaboratively. We promote effective communication within the service by using communication tools such as 1:1 engagement, Makaton, verbal communication, art and effective listening.

We enable community engagement for service users with complex needs and challenging behaviour, and actively work alongside individuals to build on their current skills. We offer Psychological Development Support to build on Service Users strengths and challenge their current skills levels.
