St Marys House - Extra Care Housing

St Mary’s House is owned by the emh group www.emhcareandsupport.org.uk and is an Extra Care housing scheme with 28 one bedroom self-contained flats.  The scheme is situated in a residential setting, close to supermarkets, the town library and all the amenities of Lutterworth town centre.

Opened in 2002, the scheme is housed in the former Georgian rectory and a purpose built extension provides a communal dining room and lounges overlooking the gardens. Other facilities include a lift, laundry, hairdressing salon, assisted bathing facilities and guest room. Regular social activities include music, trips and bingo and dogs are welcome to visit.

There is mobility access to main entrances and communal areas and some flats are adapted for wheelchair access. The schemes also have integrated door entry and emergency call systems with the capability for additional assistive technology devices.

St Mary’s has on-site care and support staff (24 hours, 7 days a week), non-resident management staff and Careline alarm service

Our residents are predominantly older people but we also welcome younger people with a disability. Our vision is to help everyone to live a full and independent life.
