The Motability Scheme helps you get mobile by exchanging your higher rate mobility allowance to lease a new affordable car, wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV), scooter or powered wheelchair.
If you receive the Higher Rate Mobility Component of Disability Living Allowance, Enhanced Rate Mobility Component of Personal Independence Payment, War Pensioners’ Mobility Supplement or Armed Forces Independence Payment and have at least 12 months of your award remaining, you could be eligible to join the scheme.
