New restrictions have been announced in Charnwood to stop the spread of COVID-19

Tighter rules are needed because cases of the virus are increasing amongst all age groups – particularly young people and those over 60.

Most of Leicestershire is in tier 1 – ‘medium’ risk. Residents in Charnwood and Oadby & Wigston are in tier 2 – ‘high risk’.

We believe that you are the best person to decide how your support should be organised. Our goal is to make sure that you get the support that is just right for you so that you can live the life you want.

We can offer support in finding the right place to live with the support you need.  We can also support you to find a job, support with your money, community activities and day opportunities.  You can join us in the following activities at our day opportunities service held at the Carillion cricket club in Loughborough:

  • Gardening club
  • Arts and crafts group
  • Cricket matches
  • Sports sessions
  • Playing pool
  • Karaoke
  • Bingo
  • Community day trips to theme parks and other places

Thera is regulated by the Care Quality Commission.  The support we provide is primarily for those with a diagnosis of learning disabilities or a dual diagnosis with learning disabilities.

We accept referrals from Adult Social Care and for those people funding their own care.
