At Transform we are committed to transforming the lives of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged young people in our communities. We believe every young person deserves to be given the opportunity to reach their full potential.
We work with young people aged 14 to 25 to help them build and develop their emotional literacy and resilience, to understand the way they are feeling to overcome the obstacles they face, and move forward in a positive direction.
Our Breakaway Arts programme is a participatory arts project for young people with learning disabilities. The project brings together young people who share a common interest in music, drama, dance, and art, helping them to develop skills as artists, but also as individuals.
Our weekly sessions include music, dance, drama, visual arts and live performance, but more importantly they support the personal development and progression of all the young people that attend. Individuals gain independence, confidence, and self esteem through their participation in the project. We support them as they transition into adulthood and help them to achieve their individual goals and reach their full potential.
