Scheme Overview
The scheme is being delivered to improve the performance and resilience of the local highway drainage network, by helping reduce the risk of surface water flooding.
The works will primarily be undertaken within the footway, including the installation of new drainage, the renewal of existing drainage infrastructure, connections to existing drainage assets, and associated reinstatement works.
Traffic management measures will be required to ensure the safety of the workforce and road users. These measures will include temporary traffic signals and temporary footway closures with signed pedestrian diversion routes where necessary.
Access to properties and businesses will be maintained wherever possible. However, there may be short periods where access is temporarily restricted while works are carried out directly outside properties. Clear signage and on-site staff will be available to assist with access and ensure the safety of residents, businesses, and road users.
