This library is now open. Opening hours are slightly different to normal (see table below) and you must book a time slot to visit the library. Limited slots are available per day to allow for social distancing.

An informal group for members to work on their own craft projects and share ideas. Bring your own craft materials.

Family Fun Crafts

First Saturday of the month 10.30am to 12noon.

Crafting fun for all the family.

£2 per family (Voluntary Donation)

Children must be supervised at all times.

Games Galore!

Every Tuesday, 2:30-4:00pm

For grown ups.

Have some fun with our range of board games, jigsaws and classics such as cards and dominoes. Come on your own or bring a friend with you.

Free and no need to book.

Refreshments available including tea, coffee and hot chocolate (charges apply)

Make, Do and Create

Every Friday 10am.

Join Melton’s Magpie Craft Group for a morning of crafting. Bring your own craft materials.

Make friends with a book

Every Monday 10.30am to 12pm.

A place to relax, a chance to make new friends, and a new way to enjoy sharing reading. There is no pressure to read or talk, you can simply drop in, sit down and relax as you listen to a good story or poem. There is no homework and free refreshments are available.

Singing Café

Every Tuesday 1:15-2:15pm

For people who have mental health challenges including Memory Loss and Dementia. Singing is good for you so come along and enjoy songs and meeting new people and have a cup of tea or coffee. Drop in, no need to book.

£3 per person (Voluntary donation)

Accompanying carers need to stay for the Café.

Have fun playing with our board games, puzzles and our construction toys to build your own creations!

Wriggly Readers

Every Wednesday 2pm to 2.30pm.

Fun, informal sessions where babies and children aged 0-4 years and their parents/carers can join in with stories, songs and rhymes in a welcoming environment. An opportunity for families to meet and make friends.
