We are on the lookout for social workers to help people with mental health issues and learning and physical disabilities.
We have organised a special adult social care recruitment event for qualified social workers, who will be able to take away details of the council’s employment offer and get the chance to speak to front line staff.
The event, which takes place between 3pm and 7pm tomorrow (Tues 22), at County Hall, has been organised as we launch a recruitment drive to attract more than 15 social workers a small number of unqualified posts, into the care sector.
The roles are for social workers and community support workers to work with specific groups of people including residents with learning and physical disabilities, mental health needs, working age adults, or older adults.
Working in adult social care is challenging, but allows people to make a real difference to the lives of vulnerable people.
“We’re looking to attract people to support how we meet people’s care needs now and in the future.
