SEND Roadshow to provide support for families

The SEND Local Offer Roadshow is open to anyone looking for support or information

An event for families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) is being held in Whetstone next Wednesday 21 June.

The SEND Local Offer Roadshow, free to attend and open to anyone who would like to learn about useful information and support from SEND services, will take place from 10am-1pm at the Blaby and Whetstone Youth Club, Warwick Road, LE8 6LW.

Organised by Leicestershire County Council, a range of organisations will be in attendance including the council’s Early Years Inclusion and Childcare Service, Menphys and the FA Disability Football team.

As a council, we are committed to ensuring that support for the families and carers of children and young people with special educational needs is accessible as possible, and our roadshows are one of the ways we can reach people in the local community.
We understand the unique challenges that families face every day and events like this aim to provide those affected with valuable resources, guidance and a network of understanding peers.

Anyone interested in finding out more about the SEND Local Offer roadshow can email leicestershirelocaloffer@leics.gov.uk Those attending can also book in through our Local Offer roadshows page.
