Heathcotes Residental Service for Learning Disabilities and Autism

Heathcotes Wigston is a specialist residential service for adults with a Learning Disability and Autism who may have dual diagnoses and associated complex needs. Heathcotes Wigston has eight ensuite bedrooms and provides twenty four hour support.The service provides two communal lounges, a kitchen and a dining area, a snoozelem as well as access to a large garden area. Heathcotes Wigston has Wi-Fi throughout allowing service users to stay in touch with family and friends, access e learning and use the internet.

There are many opportunities for residents to develop new skills; Countersthorpe College and South Leicester College are nearby. Residents are encouraged to take part in the running of the household including cooking, shopping and budgeting. The service has excellent transport link and is on the main bus route to Leicester
