Our short breaks services specialise in providing planned and meaningful support for people with a learning disability. They provide opportunities to try new activities, build independence and enjoy time away from home, while giving families and carers valuable time to rest and recharge. Our offer includes a range of flexible options designed to meet different needs, preferences and levels of support, ensuring people can access safe, enjoyable and high quality breaks that help them live the life they choose.

In addition to planned stays, our short breaks services can also consider urgent requests or referrals (subject to availability). This ensures that individuals and families facing unexpected pressures or changes in circumstance can still access timely, supportive and high quality breaks when they need them most.

Our in-house adult short breaks (respite) services provide personalised overnight provision from 3 locations in Leicestershire. They are part of a wider support network designed to give adults meaningful experiences away from their primary carers. These breaks promote personal and social development, reduce isolation, and offer carers essential time to rest and recharge.
