At Briars Barn we are keen to ensure that everyone who works with us or visits us knows they can all make a difference and can contribute.  We have extensive experience in supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities, autism, communication and sensory difficulties, and behaviours that may challenge.

We are a busy and active workplace which offers person centred support to enable adults to gain experiences from one or more of the following:

  • Independent living skills and citizenship
  • Café
  • Horticulture
  • Small animal care
  • ILS Enterprise (Social Enterprise)
  • IT and Office Skills
  • Art Studio
  • Furniture Restoration and Car Washing (Social Enterprises)

And so much more!  Our first step is to get to know you and understand what you want to achieve through a personal assessment. You will have opportunities to work in small teams; dependant on the support needed we may be able to offer 1:1 support, or through prior arrangement you can even bring along your own personal assistant to access our facilities.  Charges do apply and can vary dependant on your needs.  We are open Monday to Friday 10 am to 4 pm, 52 weeks of the year.
