Gretton Court Extra Care Housing Scheme

Built in 1988, Gretton Court is a 42 unit Extra Care scheme owned by Melton Borough Council and is within walking distance from the town centre.  All units are studio or one bedroom flats for rent with their own kitchen, cloakroom with WC and hand wash basin.  To meet the needs of assisted bathing, the specialist bathing and showering facilities are shared.  The scheme’s communal areas include a lounge, dining area, garden, laundry facilities and guest room.

Various social events take place at the scheme including carpet bowls, film shows, church services, bingo and coffee mornings, Visitors are welcome to bring their dogs with them.

The scheme has on site care staff (24 hours /7 days a week), non resident management staff and Careline alarm service.

To be eligible for this scheme, you need to be over 55 and assessed by Adult Social Care as needing a minimum of 3 hours care per week.  You will need to apply to Melton Borough Council to join the housing register.
