Development control and regulatory board

You may want to attend or find out more about the Development control and regulatory board if you are interested in the development control (planning) decisions the council makes.

The Development control and regulatory board makes decisions on applications relating to:

  • Public Rights of Way
  • Tree Preservation Orders made by the county council),
  • Commons Registration

It also advises the Cabinet on responses to planning consultation exercises which have been referred to us by District councils.

You can attend a meeting, as they are open to the public and take place every 4 to 5 weeks.
They are also broadcast live online.
You can view the agendas, papers, live broadcast and membership on the Development control and regulatory board page on our political management system.
