We want to conserve and enhance Leicestershire’s nature and landscapes for the benefit of biodiversity and the enjoyment of people.
The outdoors and nature are free to explore, and are good for our mental and physical health.
Leicestershire has many areas of woodland, parks (urban and country parks), and you’ll find trees in all of these places.
These links will help you discover more of Leicestershire’s natural environment.

There are some hidden gems in Charnwood Forest, and across the county. A couple of my favourites for walks are Jubilee Wood and Broom Briggs Farm, both near Woodhouse Eaves.
