We have a continuing commitment to the environment.
As a council we play a role in protecting and enhancing the environment of Leicestershire, meeting the challenges of climate change and embedding sustainability into the county.
The actions needed for this vision are much bigger than the county council and what we do. We cannot achieve this alone, and we need people and organisations across the county to work together.
We’ve worked with a number of businesses already, and always want to hear from organisations who want to help shape a greener future for the county.
We need to work with a wide and diverse network of people and organisations, from individuals, to small businesses and national bodies, so we want to make it clear that:
- We may feature the work of those organisations across our website and social media channels.
- By featuring an organisation, we are not endorsing or recommending them, we’re showcasing the work that they do to have a positive impact on our environment.
