From my home I can care for the children as any parent would do, supporting and encouraging them to flourish and be independent in a home away from home setting. Children will have access to the whole of downstairs which consists of a playroom where there are many engaging and educational toys as well as dressing up, age appropriate games, jigsaws and books. There is a large lounge and kitchen where the children will take part in junk model making, baking, drawing and painting to encourage visual and sensory learning. We have a large self-contained garden with a 2-story playhouse complete with play kitchen where the children can engage in role play activities. We are also lucky enough to have a vegetable patch where the children can learn, play and discover mini beasts. We have an annual pass to Twycross Zoo, which the children enjoy visiting and we make regular trips to the local library as well as exploring garden centres, wooded areas and open spaces.
