Get health advice

Looking after your health is important at all stages of life.

If you’re aged between 40 and 74 years old you can get a free health check.  To book a health check:

  • contact your doctor (General Practitioner / GP) for an appointment
  • find your local GP surgery.  You’ll need to register before you can book an appointment.

You can find out more about the NHS Health Check.

For the best way to access health services visit the NHS page on GP appointments and bookings.
