Country park, car parking season ticket

Regular visitors save money on parking charges, by using a season ticket

You will not have to pay daily parking charges if you are a Season Ticket holder

  • Pay on the day parking may apply on Special Event Days for Season Ticket holders.

How to apply

  • Choose the correct form to download
  • Post the completed form with the correct payment to the address indicated on the forms
  • There are different forms and postal addresses for Blue Badge and Non-Blue Badge applications

  • £60 per year for Non Blue Badge holders
  • £20 per year or £60 for 3 years for Blue Badge holders.

How to pay

Cheques or Postal Orders should be made payable to Leicestershire County Council.

  • The amount to pay is found on the application form
  • Payment by credit card is currently not available

Where you can use the Season Ticket

Prices apply from £2 for 1 hour up to £4 for all day parking at:

  • Beacon Hill Country Park (Upper and Lower car parks)
  • Market Bosworth Country Park

Pay on entry charge of £2.50 for a day ticket for non-season ticket holders at:

  • Watermead Country Park (North)

Pay and display charge of £2.50 for a day ticket for non-season ticket holders at:

  • Bosworth Battlefield Museum and Country Park
  • Broombriggs Farm and Windmill Hill
  • Burrough Hill Country Park
  • Shenton Station

A Season Ticket or Parking Ticket is not required for the following Country Parks

Free parking at:

  • Ashby Woulds Heritage Trail
  • Bagworth Heath Woods
  • Donington Le Heath Museum and Gardens
  • Donisthorpe Woodland Park
  • New Lount Nature Reserve
  • Oakthorpe Colliery and Picnic Site
  • Saltersford Valley Picnic Site
  • Sarah’s Wood
  • Snibston Country Park

No on-site car parking is available at the following parks

  • Jubilee Wood
  • Misterton Marshes
  • Sheet Hedges Wood
  • 511 site in Coalville

Sharing a Season Ticket

The Season Ticket is for the household but there are some rules to remember.

  • Blue Badge Season Ticket holders may only share their Season Ticket with other Blue Badge holders living at the same address
  • Non Blue Badge holders can share their Season Ticket with anyone living at the same address

It’s not allowed for:

  • Blue Badge holders to share their Season Ticket with someone who doesn’t hold a Blue Badge.
