Council has carefully assessed passenger usage

Members of the public are being invited to find out more about the county council's plans for the 27 Loughborough to Thurmaston bus service following a review.

Events are taking place at:

Elizabeth Park Centre, Thurmaston (9.45am)

Syston Community Centre on Wednesday, 10th July (5pm)

Mountsorrel Methodist Church on Thursday, 11th July (3.15pm)

Sileby Community Centre on Friday, 12th July (10.15am).

The proposed changes follow a careful assessment of current bus usage as the council looks to save around £400,000 from its passenger transport budget across the county and deliver a value-for-money service which meets people’s essential needs.

At the meetings, county council officials will discuss with bus users the changes that are being made to the 27 bus service.
