Long-term peer and social support is a vital lifeline for everyone affected by stroke. As a Stroke Association voluntary group, we play a significant role in providing such support and we aim to provide the necessary assistance, so that we can rebuild lives after stroke.
Our group's friendly and informal meetings offer seated exercise given by a trained exercise tutor. It also offers information about stroke and local services which might help, support for stroke survivors, their friends and family through a range of social activities.
This group meets monthly, on Thursdays from 10 am to 12.30 pm.
