To help prevent the spread and stay safe you can:

• wash hands often
• get your vaccine/booster when you’re eligible
• regularly test and self-isolate if required

Marlene Reid Centre Community Action (MRC)

MRC is a local charity, based in Coalville, we work in partnership with other local organisations, charities, individuals, local families and groups to offer a range of volunteering, education, work placements, and activities to support those living and working in North West Leicestershire.

We offer:

  • Soft play area and café
  • Community lunches
  • Community transport 
  • Charity Shop and Furniture Warehouse
  • DBS checking service
  • Venue and room hire

We also operate the local Emergency Food Bank and Christmas Toy Appeal which require a professional referral.
