In our Piano Lessons students receive individual tuition once a week. Our lesson content is varied and lessons are highly tailored to students interests and the styles of music that they are interested in.
Some of our students learn music from the Classical repertoire and go on to take grade exams. Whereas others students learn how to play the latest pop hits!
We include elements of music theory, ear training and listening skills as well as music history in our lessons so that our students become well-rounded musicians.
Our students come from a variety of ages and backgrounds, have a range of ability levels, and over the years we have had many students with additional needs (including Autism, ADHD, Anxiety and general health issues) and being inclusive is really important to us.
Becca teaches music and drama at Arella, and is the owner of the school. She has been playing the Piano for over 20 years, and studied Music at the University of Liverpool, and studied Musical Theatre at Goldsmiths, University of London. As part of her time at Goldsmiths she studied Disability Theatre. In 2018, she completed a qualification in Understanding Autism.
