The Pathways Centre at Hinckley Baptist Church is a community centre open to everyone. We provide support groups ourselves and work alongside other charities and organisations to provide services that are needed in our community. We run two groups for people living with dementia, a lively singing cafe and a day respite service where a carer can leave their loved one with our trained staff and take a break for a few hours. There is a lunch club every Tuesday serving a home-cooked dinner to provide an opportunity for those who may be lonely, for whatever reason, to come and meet friends or make new ones. There are also groups for those dealing with mental health difficulties, and we are part of Hinckley Area Foodbank too. Our community cafe is open every Wednesday and Thursday during term-time, offering a variety of light bites at very reasonable prices. There are plenty of opportunities to volunteer in different ways if you would like to give some of your time to those around you. Come and have a chat with us, the kettle is always on. If we haven't got a group to suit you we'll try our best to find you other services that may be able to help and support you.
