One2One carer for children with disabilities (Full time vacancies £35,360 + allowances)

As one of our One2One carers for children with disabilities you will be using your skills to deliver change for a single young person in a unique fostering arrangement that enables social workers and other children’s services practitioners to deliver the best possible support for young people with complex emotional and behavioural issues.

What you need to become a One2One specialist carer for children with disabilities

  • Have no children under 18 years old living in your home
  • Be able to drive and have daily use of a vehicle
  • Live in Leicestershire, Leicester or an adjacent area
  • The knowledge and skills to work with young people who have challenging and complex behaviours
 

LCC are dynamic, flexible and creative in their approach to getting the best outcomes for young people.  These roles make all the difference – wish I’d done it years ago!
