Accessing our support
Referral is typically made by specialist teachers within the Specialist Teaching Service.
How we work
We produce and prepare adapted, transcribed, enlarged and/or modified resources and materials to enable and support access to learning and inclusion for SEND pupils including text layout, fonts and colour preferences best suited to dyslexic learners and Braille/Moon resources for visually impaired children and young people. We also
- Provide training and support to staff in educational settings on adapted, enlarged, or modified materials, produce resources and assistive technologies/equipment, including Braille embossers, Tactile Image Enhancer machines and specialist scanning software.
- Support curriculum access and inclusion for SEND pupils, to all STS teams, educational settings, pupils and families.
X has loved getting the books though the post. I want everyone to know how much things like the books are appreciated as it is so hard to get books for him to read in other ways
