After school and breakfast clubs
After school and breakfast clubs offer childcare for school-age children and young people before and after the school day. They’re sometimes called ‘out-of-school care’ or ‘kids clubs’. They may be run privately or by schools.

Short breaks give children with disabilities experiences that help their personal and social development. They also give parents, carers and families a break from caring. They used to be called ‘respite care’.
