Make Your Voice Count survey

Do you have a child or young person with a Special Education Need and/or disability? We would like to hear your views.

Leicestershire education, health and care services working with children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities have key priorities set out in the SEND and Inclusion Strategy. A second version was published in October 2020 and has five different priorities that consider the needs that children and young people may experience between 0-25 years. View further information on the strategy priorities.

To understand how we are doing against the priorities, a survey has been developed to capture your views. The closing date for completing the survey is Sunday 15 August 2021.

  • Equipment and home adaptations for disabled children

Your child may be eligible to help with day-to-day living, moving around and their development. You may also be able to get changes made to your home – known as ‘home adaptations’ – to help your child live more comfortably, safely and independently.

  • Parent carers assessment

You may be able to get help with your caring responsibilities if you’re a parent or carer of a disabled child.
