Waste site updates
We are expecting to be busy from 9 May to 11 May. Please consider if your visit is necessary, and delay until later in the week if possible. Thank you for your cooperation and we apologies for any inconvenience.
- Asbestos currently cannot be accepted at Kibworth
- Fridges currently cannot be accepted at Barwell, Kibworth, Melton, Lutterworth and Oadby
- Hardcore (rubble), Upholstered domestic seating currently cannot be accepted at Lount
- Mattresses currently cannot be accepted at Oadby
- Televisions currently cannot be accepted at Melton

Check if you need a permit
You'll need a permit if you're using a:
- Van, pick-up truck or any vehicle designed or altered to transport goods
- Trailer 4 foot 6 inches (1.37 metres) long or over (from front board to back board)
Key facts about temporary garden and household waste permits:
- Permits are free of charge
- Valid for 14 days at one site
- Permits are registered to one person and one vehicle – they are non-transferable
- Permits are emailed to you
