Pre-driver courses

We offer pre-driver courses for people aged 16+ who are interested in learning to drive.

Pre-driver days are for people who have not started taking driving lessons. The course aims to raise awareness of the challenges faced by young, inexperienced drivers giving them the knowledge and understanding to make safe choices as drivers and passengers.

The course is a mixture of classroom and practical sessions, including:

  • An introduction to driving
  • Issues relating to speed demonstrated by police speed camera vans
  • A crash course on hazards by Leicestershire Fire Service
  • A practical session using the Mallory Park track and paddock accompanied by a qualified driving instructor in a dual control car

Fees

Courses are £64.09 per person. This fee is non-refundable after a booking is placed.
