Our response to the coronavirus outbreak is continuing – and our focus is on keeping critical services running, particularly those supporting vulnerable people.

We are currently working through the detail of the latest government announcements which affect Leicester city and parts of the county.

Find out more about the support and guidance available, and any changes to our services.

Increased restrictions for Leicester and parts of Leicestershire announced

Safer driving with age sessions

If you’re 60 or over and want to feel more confident on the road, a safer driving with age session (SAGE) could be for you.

Coronavirus update

Due to the current situation and government guidance to stay at home, we're currently unable to take bookings for SAGE.

When we are able to confirm (with government guidance) that we are in a position to run our events again, we'll update this page, so do please keep checking.

Our provision of services will be reviewed on a regular basis and may change with immediate effect, dependent on resource availability and national guidance.

Using your own car, each session lasts an hour and is on local roads with an approved instructor.

There are no trick questions or unusual manoeuvres and it’s not a driving test.

The session, including a written report costs £35.
