The Friends of Melton Carnegie Museum present this talk by Michael Burton. The King and the leaders of American colonial society were brothers in science, sons of the Enlightenment. He was the goodly young King, loved by his trans-atlantic subjects. But a global war changed everything. Now he was the tyrant, the bad guy needed for a different story to be written and a new nation united.
