Melton Mowbray is famous as the Capital of Fox Hunting, and this once popular sport along with other equine sports brought in the rich and famous. One of those was the Earl of Cardigan who became famous as the leader of the Charge of the Light Brigade. In this talk Brian Fare will explore Cardigan's connection to Melton along with others who also have connections to the town and fought in the various battles of the Crimean war.
The talk starts at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm.
