Play in a Day - Workshop: 8-13 year olds

This workshop is designed for 8 to 13 year olds to give them an opportunity to develop a broad range of skills through the vehicle of devised drama. The group will create a short play from a stimulus linked to fairy tales through a variety of workshops designed to develop creativity, drama skills, and group working.

There are also two spaces available for budding theatre technicians. The technical workshops will be led by Evan Rees, Century Theatre Technician. The group will learn the basics of live sound, lighting, and designing the audio-visual elements of the final performance at the end of the day.

Family and friends will be able to watch what they have created together as a team, at the end of the day.
