Leicestershire County Council is here to help you achieve your health goals, including losing weight, stopping smoking and improving your health and wellbeing.

Stop Smoking

The Quit Ready stop smoking service offer a tailored stop smoking programme that is led by you.

One of our friendly advisors will give you a call and stay in touch throughout the free 12 week programme. They will provide you with the most up to date support and coping mechanisms to help you stay smoke free.

Reach and maintain a healthy weight

The Leicestershire Weight Management service is here to help you make healthy choices around the foods you eat, your general nutrition and wellbeing and being more active.

We offer a range of free weight management support for people aged over 16 years, as well as a lifestyle programme for families of children aged 4-17 to help develop and maintain healthy lifestyles.

Our experienced dietitian-led team will be on hand to guide you through the most suitable options.
