Get the right contraception for you

Contraception prevents you from getting pregnant.

Women are able to access free contraception.  To find out more:

There are several different types of contraception, including coils, implants and injections which last for longer than other methods. Your GP or healthcare worker can help you to find one that suits your needs and lifestyle.

Aged 24 or under

Men and women aged 24 and under can get free condoms through Leicester sexual health service - C-card.

Health for Teens - Contraception and having safe sex contains lots of information about relationships, sexual health and contraception for teenagers.
